Who are we – Second Chance is a small group of people who are either directly involved with fostering as carers, have experienced being in care or are supportive towards fostering & adoption… Ordinary people with a common desire to help children.

What are we about -  Writing the song gave us enormous satisfaction especially knowing the background of the lyrics and their impact. So much so that we have decided to start a non-profit organisation called ‘Second Chance’. Any profits from the sale of the CD plus other fund raising events will be used for the benefit of children in care.

Our Aims – We hope that Fostering Agencies & Local Authorities will use the song to help promote fostering & adoption campaigns, hence lines like “Do you have love to give? The choice is yours, but the need is mine”. We also see foster carers buying it either for themselves, their children or as one foster carer has said, “for her children’s memory box’s”. Depending on the success of this CD our aim is to offer financial help that is outside the normal remit of Local Authority budgets, to assist and encourage children in care and to support the work of Fostering Network & BAAF.
